My talented Ladies at the Canvas Class

Hi Everyone
I had my canvas class on Friday night and here is what the awesome ladies made; gorgeous! For some reason I'm missing one picture of Sara's though. As you can see, some of the ladies choose a different color; 2 girls made theirs with black and Silver Foil Smooch.  I said to them it's a gamble which way it would turn out and I am so glad they took the risk, because WOW! Stunning! I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the 2nd black one, she even changed the LO a bit so I'm so mad I forgot to take a picture of it!  Nicole made her Mom's in Early Espresso; word to the wise, this color when wet turns to a green hue; luckily it dried and mostly turned all back and the parts that stayed green actually looked like a patina on aged copper.  It looks gorgeous!
Now if you would like to do this class with a group of you friends; just let me know! Class is $60 and includes your own bottle of Smooch Spritz; and half a package of Presto DSP for you to take home; and all the supplies for the class.  You need to pick 1 color for everyone to do though; otherwise, if you change the color I will have to be notified at time of booking. Those people who choose a different color will need to bring their own brayer or purchase one at time of booking which they will get to keep.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and THANK YOU to the ladies who did the class; gorgeous work girls!
PS: Today and Tomorrow are the last few days to order off the Discountinued lists and save 25% off Decor Elements and 25-50% off Retiring Accessories! Don't miss out on these fab bargains! Click on my Shopping Card and click SHOP NOW to view the sales pages.

Twisted #13 with a Sneak Peek!

Hi Everyone
Here is my take on this weeks Twisted Sketches Card #13; this weeks twist is "flourish".   The card is made with all brand new products coming out in the 2010/11 Idea Book, thought I'd give you a little SNEAK PEEK!   The Stamp set is Artistic Etching; and I just LOVE it!  All new designed stamp sets in this catalogue are available in traditional wood mount or the new Clear Mount!  WAHOO! I love the clear mount!
Supplies:
Artistic Etching: stamps
Crumb Cake: (formally Kraft) C/S base, inkpad to stamp key and back ground images, marker to spritz.
Ridinghood Red: it's back, used inkpad to stamp, marker to spritz, C/S to mount
Marina Mist*NEW* and gorgeous; used to stamp crown and marker to spritz
Early Espresso*NEW*;  inkpad  to stamp toerand C/S
Newsprint Designer Paper, vintage, gorgeous yumminess! My main images are stamped on the "vintage ledger" sheet.
 Card stock Vellum: stamped my Eiffel Tower to add a bit of depth to the card;
Hodge Podge Hardware: Brads and metal accents
Color Spritzer tool: use with markers for a distress look
Elegant Trio: Stencil from Decor Range (flourish)
Log cabin Smooch and Vanilla Shimmer Smooch (flourish)
Word of warning though, DO NOT SPRITZ VELLUM!!!  If you look closely at my open card front, you'll see all the ink ran.  Which I did not notice until I took some pictures! I had to re-do my vellum card front!

Sexy with a side of Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone
Today's LO is for a  Design Team  call over at Twisted Sketches; if you ever wanted to be on a DT, get scrappin' and apply!  July 3 is the deadline and it is a sweet sketch up for it with the twist being "music".  So for my LO I choose to use SU! the music sheet paper from the  New DSP Newsprint , which will be available to purchase July 1. (Fleur de lis paper Non-SU!) . I also used the NEW Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon to lace up my eyelets.  Another sneak peek for you is the Crumb Cake Ink I used to distress my papers and to stamp my Eiffel Town along the left side of my page, with the NEW stamp set Artistic Etchings. Just click on the page to make it larger to see the details.  Last little sneak peak is the Cherry Cobbler matting on the picture on the left! Love this color! Gorgeous! Come back tomorrow to see another sneak peak on the card I made for Twisted Sketches Card #13.
It's hard to tell in the picture but that red paper is actually crushed velvet: gives the LO a real sexy vibe! And lets face it; these shoes a drop dead SEXY!  If you don't know what Christian Louboutin Shoes are, you going to have to hand your "girl card" back in....these are just the worlds most drop dead sexy shoes!!! Even if your just wearing sweat pants, you will look like a bombshell in a pair of these beauties! Odd, but bombshell none the less!

Photo Clip Wall Hanging

Hi Everyone
Well today I thought I would take some time to make something traditionally and not digital.  I know I've been doing a lot of digital lately, and that would be because I've just been sooo busy.  June is the end of school for the twins plus SU! end of year, which means I've been busy with sales.
Today's craft was completely scrap lifted from HERE; I saw this and just loved it, so I thought I would make one.  First I took one of those Ikea Framed Mirrors, it's 10x10 with about a 3x3 mirror in the center.  I decorated it with the new Presto Paper from the mini.   It is white paper with clear patterns on it, you ink the paper up and PRESTO the pattern appears.  So for mine, I used my brayer  with Melon Mambo and rubbed it with a tissue to remove the ink off the pattern to make it pop more. The B&W paper is from Night and Day(retired but still on MDS); I attached with mod podge.  Next I spritzed Vanilla Shimmer Smooth from the mini all over.  I put down sticky strip for the Black Satin Ribbon; satin ribbon is my fav, it is soo easy to tie a nice bow or knot with!  I tied a bow, and pierced a hole with the crop-a-dile and place a rhinestone brad inside.  Next I used the Big Shot with  the #2 Circle Die (fav!) to cut the circles for my flower; I used faux leather and tulle, layered it and held it together with a rhinestone brad; then I used my Heat Tool to distress the tulle.  I spritzed that with the Vanilla Smootch before I hot glued it down as well as the bull dog clip.
I think this would make a cute grouping on the wall if you did 3 or 4 of them to match; or even a cute "to do list".
Hope your inspired and thanks for stopping by

Here are the cards that my husband +21 other Dad's will be receiving this week end.  Ethan's card is on the left and Tristan's on the right. I volunteered to teach 23 kids from my boys kindergarten class how to make these Father's Day cards with the Build a Bear Range for the Big Shot.  All the kids loved them and had fun making them!  I brought the stamp set Forest Friends and let them choose which stamps they wanted to use and where; they also stamped the inside.  They stamped with Versa Mark as there is NO mess involved with it!! Thought that would be very good for 23 kids!  The Build a Bear is cut out with the Big Shot and SU! Bear Bigz Die 117977, $31.95 and his pants and heart are from SU! Beary Essentials 117978 $31.95.  The essentials die come with complete outfits: pants, shoes, skirts, shirt, coat; but as 23 kids were making this, I thought best to keep it simple!  I've added a couple pictures of another project I did, but this one was for a 7 year old Girls B-day party; they made a paper doll (bear) collection! You can see the outfit options available.  It was so cute and the girls loved it.
If you would like me to design and teach at your child's next birthday party, contact me to custom design a project based on your child!  From Skulls to Princess, I'll design something to make your next birthday party a breeze!
Hope this inspires you to go make a homemade card with your kids for their Daddy this week end!

Zoom Zoom

Hi Everyone
Here is another LO I did the other day when I was on my roll!  Again, I used retired DSP, I've been cleaning out my scrap studio to make room for all the new supplies that arrived yesterday from the new catalogue(AMAZING) pre-order! One of the perks of being a demo we get a sneak peek pre-order! Just wait till July when you see the catalogue...WOW! It blew my socks off! Every new catalogue I'm excited, but this one takes the cake! SU! has really moved forward and it keeping up with the scrap book shops!! Not just for card makers anymore...SU! has finally embraced scrapbookers!  So trendy, vintage, gorgeous! I'm soo exciting! I can't wait till July so I can order as well!
The cardstock on this page is Ridinghood Red, which was an In Color that retired a year ago, but with the new Color Renovation that SU! is going through, this color is BACK July 1 in the new Catalogue!  So even though this awesome DSP has been gone for a year, I thought I'd still post this page to welcome back Ridinghood Red!
I used the 1" circle punch to make the skull circles; some are popped up with dimensionals; Spiral Punch to make to make it look like it was torn out of a book ( this is my favorite punch); and the X-large Flower punch to make my flower embellishment.  I aslo stuck a strip of Sticky Strip down and covered it with Green Micro Beads; this adds a really cool texture to the page that the camera just can't pick up.  The letters are Thickers, lightning bling unknown, had it in my stash for ages. Buttons are Ridinghood Red (retired), threaded with linen thread.

Hi Everyone
Here is another layout I did in the theme, JUST FOR ME! I really like how this turned out.  The DSP again is from Sweet Pea, so only available in digital form now, I was lucky and bought an extra book before it retired.  I really loved this collection. Then I put down some Tim Holtz masks and spritzed them with Smootch Log Cabin Spritz.  The clock is from the Sense of Time stamp set 113804, stamped with Basic Brown  on Naturals White C/S; I sprayed the card stock sheet with water and crumpled and scrunched it up to distress it. The saying by the picture was stamped with the same stamp set and I added a Library Clip to it; they are on sale for 50% off right now.   The hardware on the clock it Tim Holtz; and the cute little tags on the boys pictures are our new Vintage Mini Tags 118763, stamped with Rough Type 120072 for clear; both from the mini.  I love EVERYTHING on pg 14-15 of the mini, and own it all!
Hope you like it!
