Customer Appreciation SALE!

Hi Everyone
Well on Saturday, my husband and I will be off on our SU! Cruise to the Southern Caribbean!  I was able to earn this awesome holiday for my husband and I because of YOU, my great customers!  And for that, I wanted to pass along my THANKS by putting on a SALE for YOU!
ALL On-line orders place between the dates that I am gone, April 24 till May 2, will recieve a Gift Certificate valid through Me; Every $50 you order ( pre s/h and tax) you will recieve $10 in Gift Certificates*; this works out to be 20% ! This is a one week offer only, so don't miss out! Gift Certificates will be mailed out once I return.

I've taken a few extra pictures of my Memory Blocks that I posted a few weeks ago just because those last pictures just did them no justice.  These pictures are slightly better, but again, they look so much better in person.  I've spoken to a few ladies who had seen them on here first and they've told me they did not think much of them from the pictures, but in person, they loved them, and one girl actually booked a private workshop for her and her friends to make them.  So I thought I try to take a few more pictures; I will be holding a class at my house to make these Thursday May 27 and you can CLICK HERE for the details.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Make sure you check back here MAY 1 for an announcement.

*Gift Certificates are not valid to use in my Monthly Groups..

Twisted Cards #2

Hi Everyone
Here is my take on the Twisted Card Sketch #2, I went for a vintage feel with this card.   Today's twist is TWILL so I stamped my main image on Twill Tape with Chocolate Chip ink with the stamp set Spring Song and the En Francais background stamp.  On the Very Vanilla C/S I stamped with versa mark and clear embossed  the French Filagree background stamp and the flower from Vintage Vogue(mini); next I swirled in some Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow ink with a sponge, then swirled over some Chocolate Chip ink as it was just too bright, and spritzed on some more chocolate chip with the Color Spritzer Tool(107066 $18.95) which is a MUST for the Vintage look! Lastly, I stamped the En Francais onto the Kraft Base and added some details with Scalloped Trimmed Pretty in Pink, Sage Shadow Ribbon and Vintage Brads.

My Digital Studio: Birthday Invite

Hi Everyone

Saturday was my twin’s 6th b-day party, and this is the invite that I made for it. This is a great idea to use with your My Digital Studio; and if you don't have it yet, here is a good reason to get it! I made it the 8.5x11 size so I could just print it off myself onto Whisper White Card Stock and hand it out to their friends at school. I also emailed it to some other friends which; this works out  PERFECT for me to do, as I always leave things to the last minute, so going to the post office just does not work for me! I got a lot of complements on this invite from the parents as well; it really is a good idea to put your kid’s pictures on the actual invites. My boys are bussed to school, so I don't get to meet all the Mom's like I used to in pre-school; so it was nice for the Mom's to SEE whose party they are going too!
Today is the boy's actually b-day, I can not believe they are already 6! It's gone by so quick, but on the other hand, I can't remember life without them!
Have a fab day, and thanks for stopping by

Say Hello to my new friends...and Good bye to some Old ones! With a SALE!

Hi Everyone
Last week SU! announced to the demo's that we are undergoing a COLOR RENOVATION, and I am SO PUMPED by it!  I was just to busy to blog it to you...but now I have a few minutes, so here are the NEW COLORS that will be out in the July 2010 Catalogue!  I'm so excitted for this NEW, FRESH change!  The colors are fantastic, current and trendy!  I can not wait to get to play with them!  Now look closely everyone, there are some RETURNING In Colors in the mix...BAJA BREEZE is BACK! I'm sooo pumped!  I also can not wait to get my hands on Cherry Cobbler, how yummy does that color look?  What about Early Espresso! GORGEOS!
Now in total there are 5 BRAND NEW colors, 10 RETURNING In Colors, & 25 Carry Over Colors.  Now this excitting new change means we need to say good bye to some old favorites:
Please click on the picture to see the names of all the colors we need to say farewell too.

I wanted to give you advance notice on this so you will have time to stock up on colors that you just CAN NOT live without! Make sure you buy your re-inkers for your pads, and stock up on your cardstock too! And also, SU! is saying good bye to full size Craft Pads, except Whisper White and Basic Black, so if you need any Craft pads, please buy them now!

Now to make this transition easy on you, I thought a SALE might ease your pain! For the rest of the month of APRIL, when you order your RETIRING Color products through ME, (online or pick-up), for every $25 you spend pre shipping/tax, you will receive a $5 gift certificate for future SU! purchases from Me! Just like SAB, it will add up, spend $50=$10 Gift Card, $75=$15!  This is only available for RETIRING COLORS ONLY. You may order anything on your order, but I will only be including retiring color products in the promotion.

Hi Everyone

Sorry I've been MIA again, April is a busy month. Taxes...b-day's...and prepping for my CRUISE! So I know I'm not going to get any sympathy! LOL! Thought I'd just post a quick picture of a frame I whipped up in less than 2 min! Literally! The frame is from IKEA, I opened it up, and stamped the damask from Friends 24/7 in Basic Black, put this cute picture of all the kids in it, then I applied the HOPE from the Inspirations
Decor Elements words (black, M) right onto the glass. Popped it all back into the frame, DONE! I'm going to give this to my Dad, for days when he is not doing so well, he can look at this and know WHY he is fighting so hard.

If you would like to do this frame in a workshop, just let me know. You can book a decor workshop with me and request this project. There will be a $7 fee/person to pay for the frame, and everyone will receive a word from the Inspiration set: life, hope, faith or love in Black.

Twisted Card Sketches #1

Hi Everyone
Today's card was made with Twisted Card Sketches #1. I'm on the design team for this awesome challenge blog. Make sure you click on the link on the right and go play along! This week’s twist is SQUARE, so I just kept my images in the center on square mats. I stayed true to the sketch and was really happy with the way the card turned out. Sorry for the shine on it; picture taking is not my strong suit! It is actually shimmery white paper, so it kept reflected the flash..and without the flash it was just too dark! It is so pretty in person, the shimmery white just adds a touch of class. If you click on the picture to make it larger, you may be able to see the shimmer, plus the stamped damasks on the black card stock..
Supplies all Stampin Up!
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red & Shimmery White
Stamps: Friends 24/7, Three little words
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red, Versa Mark
Embellishments: Sending Love Epoxy Brads Real Red ( Spring Mini, these brads are AWESOME),
                            1/4" Real red Ribbon
Thanks for stopping by, now go make a card with this wicked sketch!  Leave me a comment and let me know what cha' think!

Robin's House

Hi Everyone

Here is a little bird house I made for my Hostess last night; a cute robin’s house filled with her eggs...or jelly beans! This little cutie is made with SU! Bigz L Die Mini Milk Carton from the Spring Mini. You still have the month of April to order this awesome die before the Spring Mini retires. As you guessed by the name of the die, it actually makes mini milk cartons, all you do is punch a 1 3/8" circle, add a window sheet behind it, and put on a card stock roof and you have a bird house! How cute it this! I just put my roof on with a Library Clip so you don't have to destroy the house to get to the jelly beans! The front is just decorated with the XL Bird Punch from the Mini as well.

Thanks for stopping by, check back tomorrow for the Twisted Card Sketches reveal.
